Look at my new bike!!!

As part of John's birthday, Jim and I promised him a new bike. Jim started searching the internet for a good deal on a used bike. Low and behold on Craig's list last week, Jim found this bike. He was so proud of himself. This bike is a Schwinn OCC (Orange County Choppers) Sting Ray. This bike is shaped like a motorcycle with a back wheel that is almost 4" wide. It is incredibly heavy. Look at John, he is so happy and proud
of his new bike.

On a side note, Matthew finally learned to ride his tricycle this week. Jim and I have struggled with him on this. He just walked it. All of a sudden on Thursday afternoon, he started pedaling. He is so HAPPY!!! He now wants to ride his bike all of the time.

Sarah Lost her First Tooth - April 7, 2008

Sarah lost her first tooth this week. She was so brave and she didn't even shed a tear. The tooth fairy came and visited her. She was so excited. She received 1 gold coin. She is now saving up to buy her first Webkinz. She is dying for the pink poodle. :)

John's 7th Birthday

Happy Birthday to John!!! Wow, is he really 7. Where did the time go?

We invited a couple of neighbor friends over for a small party on his birthday. We had a lot of fun.

Had big plans to take him and his friend from school to a Braves baseball game - unfortunately it rained all day. Bowling, what a great back up plan. We all had loads of fun.....

Our Trip to the Georgia Aquarium

Thanks to Uncle Josh and Aunt DeAnn, we took a trip to the Georgia Aquarium over our winter break. We had so much fun....It is great to see all of the wonderful sea life.

It was absolutely amazing and quite remarkable. It is amazing at how large some of these undersea creatures can become. They explained to us that a whale shark when grown is as large as a school bus. WOW!!!

I can't believe how big they are getting.
